The Traveling Lemon Project!
May. 12th, 2012 04:18 pmMy contribution to the Traveling Lemon Project for John Finnemore (the writer of Cabin Pressure).
There was a lot of stuff going on downtown this morning and my 4yo was really not cooperating, so this picture of the lemon at the Capitol had to be taken out the car window. Not exactly what I was going for, but ah, well. Texans love to point out that the Texas Capitol building's dome is actually taller than the US Capitol building's dome. ;-)

This is a relatively new statue of the city's patron saint, Willie Nelson. Everyone is taking pictures of their kids sitting at Willie's feet and gazing up at him in admiration. So I decided the lemon needed to do the same.

The iconic tower at UT had to be included.

And of course, I had to include a BBQ picture. As they say, everything is bigger in Texas.

Check out the Tumblr tags to see the pictures from all over the world. :-D
Also note that you can donate to the project here to help cover the costs of professionally printing the book that John will get.
