In a little more than 24 hours, there have been 112 comments posted on the lastest chapter of LMH. I've been writing fanfic for almost two years now, and I've never had this sort of response to anything I've written. I'm honored, and humbled, and stunned that so many people are reading this. The hundred-odd of you that have become regular commenters have made my YEAR!

I'd like to say that feedback doesn't really matter, and that I only write for myself, and gracious things like that, but all I can think of to say at the moment is "HOLY SHIT!" I'm amazed and flattered that so many people are taking the time to leave thoughtful comments, reviews, and predictions about the story.

A few of you have figured the mystery out, by the way! ;-) I don't think I'll tell you if you're right just yet...

I will respond to all of the comments, but it's going to take some time. I really, truly, have no words but THANK YOU is probably a good place to start!

As already said, you deserve e*v*e*r*y s*i*n*g*l*e l*i*t*t*l*e l*e*t*t*e*r of the reviews (and the betas, of course!)!

You know, I've three weeks to go until I take my final exams at school, and I've spend so much time reading and re-reading your fics that I maybe should have spent learning instead... and I don't regret one minute of it!

Have read the latest instalment, BTW, and as usual, I love it. You keep up the tension; you make us feel for Harry; and the last scene absolutely relieved me, because it proved Draco was not in cahoots with the baddies. Also, your slash does read like gay boy luv, not idealised-girl-luv-with-boys-parts like entirely too much slash around.

Not a very good review, but I'm sort of overwhelmed right now. Still, I felt, like those 100-plus readers, that you deserved feedback. This is popular vote, woman! Enjoy!

100+ in 24 hours is really fantastic -- and each of those is *so* well deserved. It's a totally absorbing, very well written and plotted story, and the amount of feedback reflects that, I think. I don't review everything I read, but I really *want* to make time to review LMH - it's exceptionally good. Thanks to you for sharing it with us. :)

you're the one who should be thanked! I'm constantly on the edge of my seat from Wednesday to Monday...always waiting for Tuesday to roll around. It seems funny because normally we want Fridays to come, but I'd much rather wake up with it being Tuesday and having another chapter of Left My Heart to read.

Wait, you write SW fanfiction too? *smites self* You know, I saw that over on the side of your LJ, and for some reason, it went right over my head. Probably because I was too caught up in reading the *tasty* H/D fic. I gave up on SW fanfiction because most of it sucked. I actually wrote some myself way back in 2000, but it sucked too. LOL. Hey you deserve every single praise you've gotten for Left My Heart :) It's truly one of the best H/D fics I've ever read and trust me, I've read a lot.

It's just that your writing style is simply amazing, the way you desribe certain situations and scenes is just... pure magic. Your characterizations of Harry and Draco are very realistic and the plot is intriguing to read.

Some have already figured out the mystery? Damn, I must resist the urge to read through all the comments now ;)
