Have you ever come across something you've written and completely NOT remember ever writing it? And you read it and are all WTF, really? Was I high when I wrote this, and then blacked out?

Because I do not recall writing these crossover crack drabbles, at all. Granted it was almost 4 years ago, and the odds are good I'd had a lot to drink when I wrote them, and that was a particularly fucked up time of my life (long story), but wow. No memory.

Not trying to toot my own horn or anything, but they're pretty hilariously cracky. :-P

I have this amnesia with almost everything I've ever written. I get to the end of the stories and I'm surprised by the endings. :p

LOL! I've totally done that before. Luckily I know myself well enough to always expect a happy ending, though I sometimes can't remember how the hell I pulled it off. ;-)

I was cruising Delicious awhile ago for fic with one of my favorite pairing. I found this one that sounded totally awesome! It had a great title and the scenario sounded right up my alley. I clicked the link and ended up on my site. I think the author could've done a better job though, she sorta rushed the end. ;)

I do that all the time though. I suck at remembering what I wrote. It's fun when the surprise is a pleasant one. Like when I tripped over a short little PWP I wrote and it was really hot. That was shiny.

I can't believe I forgot the title of all things, summaries (particularly ones done by other people to describe something) can be misleading. But I did actually make the title all by myself.

I've had that happen in real life, and it's just as embarrassing then. Once with a short story, and even worse, once with an article. The article was the more ridiculous because I had only written it a couple of months earlier, and my friend handed the mag across to me in a cafe, and, thinking she meant me to read something I would enjoy, I started and began saying 'Oh, yes! I could not agree more! This is brilliant!' At which point my friend took back the mag, rolled it up, and thwapped me with it.

In my defence, when freelancing, I wrote a lot, ranging from economics to gardening, and if I kept all of it in my head, I'd run out of room! And now, to read the ficlets !

I found a Barty Jr/Regulus Black story that I not only don't remember writing, I remember telling someone this summer that it's the only HP fic I still wanted to write. DH did weird things to my brain, I think.
