I no longer value what I used to, really. Easy to dismiss what you've got a lot of, of course. Anyway, it boils down to simple truths for me, more and more. So tell me, what are yours?
1. When I was 25, I thought I would make my mark on the world with my career. By the time I was 35, I realized that was incredibly naive.
2. It's not a cliche that education is the one thing no one can take away from you.
3. Deep down, everyone likes porn.
4. Cats are better than dogs, but only the most enlightened people understand this.
5. Chocolate is the true food of the gods. Either that or red wine. Maybe both.
6. If you want to feel beautiful, spend $200 in a chic hair salon.
7. There's no such thing as a parenting expert.
8. The more educated you become, the more you realize how much you don't know.
9. It's really hard not to be judgmental of others when it comes to things you care very much about, and that's okay.
10. Words have more power in writing than when spoken.
