Came here off the thread on pir8fancier's journal and I don't understand why no one is rec'ing you as your writing is fucking awesome. This piece is gorgeous. In fandom I generally go for the slashy stuff and rarely read het but this was just too interesting a title (and lovely a read) to pass up.
