I think the big thing to keep in mind is that I'm seeing these episodes for the first time. I don't know what's coming, and based on what I've seen so far, I have no reason to anticipate the direction any of it is going. People are commenting here in ways that are bordering on condescending, which strikes me as odd, because hey -- I'm a newbie! Of course I'll look back on this differently later, when I have more information. That's how these things work. It's difficult to unknow something and try to see it from the perspective of someone who doesn't know, but it's still best to let them figure it out in their own time.
