From an acting perspective, it was interesting to watch the two actresses play each other's characters.
I think Eliza playing Buffy slightly had the edge on Sarah Michelle as Faith (people nicknamed them Fuffy and Baith for a while, iirc) - I wish she'd gotten a little more time, although obviously the focus plot-wise should be Faith's interactions with Buffy's friends.
Was it ever mentioned before that Willow used to have a crush on Giles?
She had a picture of her and him in her locker in S1. It was pretty adorable.
I like Buffy, but I wanted to punch her at the end of this episode.
I was glad Angel did (although her helpless girl 'You hit me!' bit was irritating.)
I fully intend to go look for Angel/Riley hatesex fic later tonight.
I don't know any, but I do remember the blocking when they're fighting is such that someone iconised Angel at Riley's crotch, no manip required ;)
