on another note, do you know of any resources for hp slash writers? i'm just starting to write hp slash for the hp_springsmut challenge, and i'm fairly new to everything. i've been mostly writing lotrps slash, and then its not even fully R. so of that sort anything would help!

Well, there's writing_sex for any questions you have about sex scenes. There's a list of general writing resources I've collected here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/novel_fanfic/589.html). But for the most part, I think I learn a lot about writing from reading how other people have written it, writing it myself, and then asking people for feedback.
