(no subject)

Every now and then I go peek at the parenting forums I used to frequent, and they're all full of questions along the lines of, "My 25.3-month-old daughter, who is a complete genius, is not yet doing [insert skill most kids can't master until they're 6 years old]. How can I force her to master this skill years before she is developmentally ready?"

Clearly I'm done with parenting forums. 0_o
