Ascendio!

Going to Ascendio in Orlando this summer? Me too!

Here's where you can find me:

1. In the Sherlock Suite at the Portofino hotel! That's right, chaeche and I are hosting a Sherlock suite. Look for more information about the location on ascendiolock and on the message boards at the con.

2. On Friday afternoon, I should be on a panel called How Fandom has Shaped Social Media Spaces (and Vice Versa), organized by pinkfinity. I say should because I'm flying in on Friday and if my flight is delayed I may not make it.

3. On Friday night there will be a Sherlock meet-up from 7-8. Stay tuned to ascendiolock for more information!

4. On Saturday afternoon, I'll be on a panel organized by femmequixotic with pir8fancier, noeon, starlitshore called Slash Dragons and Bromances: The Queering of Modern Media. We're talking about lots of fandoms, I think, so this should be very cool!

5. On Saturday night, noeon and I are running a panel called Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Writing Sex Scenes* (But Were Afraid to Ask). We have a lot of fun topics for discussion planned and it will be two hours of NSFW fun. Come and enjoy!

6: At some point there will be a Harry/Draco meet-up, and I hope to be there. As soon as I find out when and where it is!

This will be my first overnight trip away from my son, and I'm SO looking forward to it! I've taken him (and a husband or babysitter) to four cons, and I'm seriously ready to go to one and not have to worry about anyone but myself. I may not sleep. And I will drink A LOT. :-D
