I've been hanging out in parenting comms a lot lately, and I kept seeing the acronym FTM being used by people to describe themselves. Which to me means "Female To Male trangendered", right? All this time I was thinking how cool it was that all of these parenting comms are so open and friendly for transgendered people!

But I just figured out it means "First Time Mom".
