1. Two days ago, I dumped a glass of iced tea on the keyboard of my laptop. Why, you ask? Because I am an idiot. I somehow remembered what you're supposed to do in such an event and didn't panic, and left it for two days to dry. I just turned it back on -- and it works!! It seems to be fine. I am SO relieved. :-P I was in the middle of a fic, too.

r_becca posted about this today and within minutes of seeing her post MDH emailed me a link to a story about it. The Buffy Singalong concept is really taking off all around the country! There's a web site here with information about a tour that's happening this summer, apparently with the idea that doing it as a special event will get local groups in various cities to start doing it regularly. There's a great video here (after you are forced to watch a Taco Bell commercial) that calls it the next Rocky Horror and includes little clips of Joss, Amber, and Michelle reacting to the idea.
