An announcement: I've taken over the moderation of almost_hd, a comm dedicated to Harry/Draco pre-slash fics. (Thank you to dorrie6 for starting it and keeping it going all this time!) I'll host a challenge over there in the next few days, just to kick things off, so if you aren't a member and think such a comm would be interesting, go check it out!

An observation: Wow, I have gotten a SLEW of wonderful feedback for Left My Heart and Surrender the Grey in the last few days! It's been trickling in for the last few months, but the amount that's come in lately makes me think that it's been recced somewhere where a lot of people saw it. Or something like that... *coughs* (You know what they say about publicity, heh.)

A gift: cormallen made my day with art for STG! It's NWS, btw, and is intended to go along with part 14. Thanks so much, Alex!!

I know that not everyone likes to read fics posted as WIPs, but I really like it, actually. I like reading in little chunks, and I love the exhilaration of seeing that a new chapter of something has been posted. So if you are like me, I think you might like this!

mackenzie1, author of Rome (which is also on my list of WIPs to read), has just started posting a post-war H/D WIP called Poison, and OMG it's fantastic so far! It's a murder mystery, and it's got so much of the stuff I love in H/D fic in it. If you know me, you know the sort of thing I like, and I'm sure it isn't everyone's cuppa, but hey. Whatever. The dialogue in this is sharp, the characterizations are edgy, and the CSI-like banter is fantastic. And oh, how I'm going to love this Draco!!!
