More HP wankage

primroseburrows has basically summed up my reaction to the latest (and greatest, actually) battle in the het shipping wars, so I'll just point any interested parties to this post.

When JKR tells you your ship has sunk in the sea of canon, people, why act like twelve-year-olds? Why can't you just WRITE FAN FICTION like the rest of us?

There be spoilers, btw. How much longer must we warn?

ETA: And lest anyone think I have the impression that all fans of that particular ship are lunatics, please rest assured I'm only talking about the true crazies. Here is an extremely reasonable one. (Thanks to didi522 for the link.)
