Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, clara_swift!!!

I first met Clara via jedirita. I had the chance to meet her in person about a year ago when I went to the UK on semi-business. I took a train from London to the charming town she lives in and gave her a call. One of the first things she said to me on the phone was "I adore your accent!" *grins* I'll never forget the first time I saw Clara, because she looked just like an old college friend of mine. She grinned at me and said, "You're Emma! This is so strange!" We went out that night for tapas and drinks and lots of fabulous slashy conversation! Hangovers were definitely involved. ;-) I've been lucky enough to see her two other times, when our husbands met as well. Clara is a person I would never have met if not for fandom, and I'm so glad I did!
