TWH Update

The Witching Hour is awesome! I'm having a blast so far, and I met so many amazing people last night. Had a seriously fangirly moment when I turned around and saw sherant, glockgal, and fiendling all sitting at a table!! I got to see tea_and_toast again, and I got to meet other great folks for the first time, likemijan (who have me art!), geoviki (finally, yay!), rosesanguina, gmth, nmalfoy, catmom, marksykins (who was collecting one-line porn at the pornish_pixies meetup), amanuensis1 (who had the cool "I'm here for the slash" buttons"), nimori (Rita, we talked about Jedi Exiles!), shaggirl, and ... ack, so many more people! My brain is full and I can't remember, but there were so many others! I'll have to update this list as I remember.

Anyway, I'm finally here and I'm having fun! Time to shower and head out for some panels...

ETA: How the hell did I get sorted into Gryffindor? I'm a Ravenclaw! :-/

People had some pretty nice replicas last year of different weapons. If you want the truth, I just didn't want to worry about getting a fake katanna and stuff onto an airplane. As is, I'm worried about them going through my bag. It looks a little suspicious to have a black trench coat and huge black boots in one's suitcase.

Did you see iridescent_ink (Olivia Lupin of "Mutual Interest") or dragon_charmer (Frances Potter of "Resolution")? They're both supposed to be there, Olivia to mod a Book 6 Roundtable (Draco Malfoy: More than a coward), and I believe Fran is supposed to do a reading.

I only got to talk to you for a tiny bit, as we were sitting at the other ends of the table. It's probably just as well, though, since if we'd started babbling about Star Wars to each other, ellen_fremedon probably would have drowned me in the miso.
