emmagrant01If you live in Texas, you probably know that TWO so-called "Defense of Marriage" ammendments have been proposed for our state constitution. Texas is a conservative state, so imagine the impact of these amendments NOT being passed here! Wouldn't you love to see that?
If you go here you can read the amendments and get contact information for your state representatives so that you can ask them to oppose the ammendments. If the state legislature doesn't act, they're likely to go on the ballot in November -- and we only have to look at blue states like Oregon to see what the likely result will be.
