ixchelmala (of Knight2King fame - very intriguing, check it out) took a trip to San Francisco. She was in the area of the Castro and took lots of pictures of places that are described in LMH!
You can check out her pictures here. She even talked the manager of the Inn on Castro into giving her a TOUR, so she got photos of rooms and everything! And there's even a table there with a bunch of "hearts" on it -- all left in SF...
