It almost seems too soon, compared to the long, dry spell between 4 and 5. Though I guess it *has* been two years.

This summer: Star Wars 3, Harry Potter Movie 4 and Harry Potter Book 6. So much fandom goodness!

Just found it! You're right - it's due out in November. Maybe at one time it was supposed to be summer and they moved it back. Good, so I'll have all summer to watch Star Wars repeatedly, and then all winter to watch HP.

And apparently there are rumors that Mira Nair will direct Order of the Phoenix! *squeeee* Maybe she'll cast Naveen Andrews as someone! She's worked with him twice before. :P

Call me spoiled. Call me impatient! But dammit, I was hoping for a June release. But you know! Hp6 coming out in July is good because it comes out just before HP Fantrips 2005.

In Hp Fantrips 2004 all anyone brought was their 3rd and 5th books.

Mira Nair? Wow! I'm glad they're talking about making a film of OOTP. I wonder if they'll get the films of all of them made?

I hope so! But if JKR doesn't get the seventh book written in a timely manner, the kids will be too old to be in the film, and I have trouble imagining that they'd recast for the last movie. Maybe I'm wrong!

I don't think they'd be too old. Actors up to thirty years old have been known to play teens. And at the oldest they would be in their early twenties, I would guess. Once you pass puberty, you just get thicker. :) Twenty-two doesn't really look that different from seventeen. The bigger question will be whether they want to continue playing the roles.
