Going to Azkatraz? Propose some programming!

Seriously folks, the deadline for submissions for roundtables, panel discussions, workshops, and papers is January 30, and we need MORE fandom submissions! We particularly need slashy, shippy programming, because at the moment, there isn't very much of it.

So if you're planning to go to Azkatraz (and seriously, you should!), submit a proposal! The programming will only be as fun and interesting as the submissions we get. Wouldn't you love to go to a roundtable discussion about your favorite ship, or a panel discussion about your favorite character, or a workshop on how to do some fannish activity you've always wanted to try? We won't have any of that stuff unless you propose it!

What fandomy things are 'missing.' I know some fans are putting together a H/D slasher panel. Is there a Snarry one yet? A R/S one? (those are my three favs).

I should be very sad that I can not go to Azkatraz this year but since the reason I can't go is that I am due the day it ends, I guess I am OK with it. :)

You are the first person on LJ who I am telling. I am twelve weeks today and the doctor says everything is looking good. I have my nuchal fold translucency test on Friday, so I will probably make a general announcement on my LJ after I get the results of that one.

I'm still not wanting to believe I really get to have this. There is a huge fear that as soon as I get comfortable with the idea it will all be taken away, but I am starting to feel like it's OK to breathe.

I don't know what your plans are before or after Azkatraz, but if you have any extra time and could make it to SoCal (like if you are driving down to San Diego for ComicCon after) and of, course, assuming I'm not in labor I would love to see you while you are on this side of the country.

How is BG? Are you loving the mom thing?

How do you find out about these Harry Potter conferences and where they are? I have never heard of Azkatraz. I am out of the loop.
