Thank you, and please join in!

Thanks to everyone who's given their opinions on my recent post! (Are slashers more liberal than the average person on the street?) I'm learning a lot, and I especially appreciate the contributions of people who don't agree with the mainstream views of the fandom.

I'm still curious to hear from people who don't support gay rights and believe homosexuality is immoral, yet who read and/or write slash. I know you're out there, and I'd love to hear what you think!

Please feel free to join the discussion.

I just wanted to let you know that I think it's fascinating, what you're trying to do (what you're doing) here, and it makes for a good read. But I won't join in, and not because I don't have convictions, but because I can't articulate my convictions very well, when it comes to politics, etc. Generally, I'm open mouth insert foot and that's not great. (I also tend to end conversations/arguments with "because it's SO!" which doesn't help at all!)

I will say I'm liberal, but that's nothing new! So rock on, Emma, it's always good to get the dirty laundry out in the fresh air.

See, that's confusing that some people who read/write slash don't believe in gay rights. Hmm...I've believed they have rights because "they" aren't any different from anyone else.
