But you're not allergic to dogs? *scratches head*

I like dogs, but they are far too needy for me these days! My cats are sweet and cuddly, but they're also okay on their own when I'm gone for a week. ;-)
i had to go with cats cause that is what i have at the moment, and i love their independence... however i love dogs as well.. and when i next am in a place where i can own a dog.. i am going to do rescue training with it.. yay...
It's definitely their independence that I appreciate. But I've always preferred them to dogs, for whatever reason. Dogs always seemed smelly and messy to me, while cats were cuddly and sweet, but not so compltely dependent on me for everything.
I love dogs but I love cats just that wee bit more. Anything that sounds like a running motor wrapped in warm fuzz gets me everytime.
Yeah, exactly. I don't hate dogs - I just like cats better!
I think my cat would like your bunny. *ducks*
Ah, that's cruel, forcing people to choose. xD The deciding factor for me was how dogs try to cuddle when you're crying. Nothing in the world can beat that.
I love cats best, but I'm bias since we've had our cat since I was 8 and I've never had a dog. Dogs remind me of cute but annoying little children always after attention, while cats seem far more sophisticated and do what they please when they please. Hehe. Reminds me of Draco a bit.
I really can't pick one. I have a cat and a dog, and I love them both madly. It would be like choosing between my children.
I love them both, too! They each have their own quirks and adorable factor. IMO, dogs are more emotionally attached to their owners. We have a Brittany named Hap, who gives hugs and snuggles. When my ailing mother was visiting recently, he went out of his way to give her lots of attention and cuddles. He would walk next to her everywhere she went, as if to keep her safe. My precious kitty seemed to say, "Oh, hi Grandma", and went on with his nap.
DOGS!
Our dog right now is like a cat - she's a lot more independant than our previous ones. She was found by a vet-friend of the family on the side of one of the highways a few hours north from me. So, I think part of it is 'cause she had to survive on her own for a while.

I like dogs, but I prefer cats. So both, but give cats the edge :)
Well, each one has their good points and bad but, cat's have a slight advantage than dogs for me. I'm allergic to dogs. LOL. Kind of funny 'cause we have two dogs and one cat. ^__~
I love all animals (OK, so not ants fleas and ticks), but there's nothing like cats.
I have 3 dogs at home (collected strays), and they're my babies and I love them, but they don't come close to the cat I had (who died)...
Cats are just something special. Those who doesn't like them probably doesn't really know them.

I picked cats but I have 3 dogs.
I like both well enough, but admittedly I prefer cats. I own a cat (that's my baby, Christmas, in the icon) and my housemate owns a Bichon Frise (Wendy). While Wendy is a very sweet and friendly dog, she's much needier than Christmas as far as I'm concerned, and having a busy work schedule I think cats are probably generally much more suited to my life style. Plus Christmas doesn't require regular trips to the groomer to keep her from smelling like she's just come out of a rain storm regardless of if she's dry or not (Sorry Wendy dear, but you do become rather pungent by the end of the month). So yeah, my vote went to cats.
I voted for dogs, but I love cats too! It was really difficult to decide. :/
I have to make an exception to Bacci, a lovely little Bichon Frise a friend of mine owns because if all dogs were like that, I'd certainly adopt a few. ;)

Too much slash on the brain ...
I read the results and all I could think was: "For a fandom that likes a bunch a dick, there sure are a bunch of pussy lovers amongst us."
Maybe it's just the lack of sleep.
Happy Fourth!
