I'm sure most of you have seen this by now, but if you haven't, go read violet_quill's take on what she might have guessed the plot of DH was based on reading her flist if she hadn't read the book. You will laugh your ass off. Oh, and SPOILERS.

Here via metafandom, and commenting in relation to your previous post: how are those of us who *haven't* yet read the book supposed to contribute to your conversation on "how long should we warn for spoilers?" The poll doesn't allow for us, the post and likely the comments are awash with spoilers, and... those who are actually affected by the topic have no way to voice our opinions or join the discussion.

that's a good point, and I probably should have put that poll in a separate post and asked people to avoid posting spoilers there to get the whole picture. It's too late to do anything about that now.

However, you can take the poll (http://www.livejournal.com/poll/?id=1026707&mode=enter) and comment on the post (http://emmagrant01.livejournal.com/383319.html?mode=reply) without reading any of the comments there or the spoilery part of the post. I hope that's a feasible option for you, since you genuinely seem interested in expressing your opinion. :-)
