It's not the tequilla. They look related. If it wasn't for the crazy Harry Potter hair, the difference in skin tone, and the fact that Elijah's face has more definition, I could mistake them for the same person. That's a little freaky, actually.

Dude did u not know they are the same person. They talk the same act. The both have hugh music collection. They make almost the same hand/head movements. Both have ifie relationship with there co-stars. The co-stars of both talk about them the same way. Watching an interview with Daniel is like watching a 15 year old British Elijah. One must not forget the fact that Daniel seems to be physically growing in to Elijah.
